A protected wine region

The Luberon AOC lies in the heart of a unique natural environment, designated both a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a UNESCO Global Geopark. Its vineyards are located entirely within the Luberon Regional Nature Park.

At the meeting point of Mediterranean and Alpine influences, the vineyards are located at elevations of between 200 and 550 metres, planted on a diverse mixture of soils including Miocene sands, red clays and limestone scree.

A distinctive climate

A distinctive climate

Climate is one of the defining characteristics of any AOC, and nowhere is this more evident than in the Luberon.

Its unique location, at the crossroads of Alpine and Mediterranean influences, provides ideal conditions for producing exceptional quality wines.

The cool nights combined with abundant Provençal sunshine allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving a natural balance.

Here, a cool terroir exists within a warm climate - a rare combination.

The art of the blend

A hallmark of the Luberon AOC, blending brings together different grape varieties, each adding its own distinctive attributes to the final wine.

With a wide range of grape varieties to choose from, our producers endow each wine with its own distinctive personality.
